The Ionia County News, Thursday, August 6, 1936


Funeral services for Barrett Sessions, 63, or Orange Township, were held 
Monday afternoon from his late home, with Rev. J. Filch of Palo officiating.  
Burial was in Letts cemetery.

Mr. Sessions death occurred early Saturday morning, Aug. 1st following a heart 
attack.  He was born in Orange Township….(illegible)…2, 1878, the son of Mr. 
and Mrs. William Sessions and most of his life had been spent in the vicinity.

On June 17, 1903 he was united in marriage with Miss…(illegible)…Burtram who 
with their children survives him.  The children are Irene, Homer, and M…
(illegible)…at home; Mrs. Howard Hite; Mrs. Ralph Clark, Howard Sessions, 
Flint and…(illegible)…of Coopersville.
