Mrs. Elizabeth T. Sessions Passed Away Last Evening. Mrs. Elizabeth T. Sessions died at 10:15 Monday evening. For some months it has been apparent that she could not recover, and death was a welcome relief from pain and weariness, for which there was no other remedy. She was born in Seneca county, N. Y., March 25, 1828, and came to Ionia in 1875, as the wife of Amasa Sessions who died ten years later. She was the daughter of Dr. John G. Tubbs, a physician of prominence during his active years, and who made his home during his last years with Mr. and Mrs. Sessions. There were two sons and two daughters in the family, of whom the only survivor now is Mrs. Francis H. Tubbs, of this city, with whom decedent made her home, after the death of both their husbands. The only relative aside from Mrs. Tubb daughters, is Mrs. F. M. Burbank, a niece. Rev. Fred A. Arthur of Grand Rapids is a nephew of the late Mr. Sessions. Mrs. Sessions was one of those thoroughly good and true women, who apparently exist to show of what human nature at is best is capable. Those who knew her best most admired, respected and loved her, and the memory of her goodness will remain to sweeten the vision of life for all those who came into intimate relations with her, and who understood the depth and sweetness of her nature.
