She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She was born on March 20, 1921 in Belding the daughter of Glen and Avis Sussex Spencer. Marion married Winthrop C. Setchfield in Yuma, Arizona on July 27, 1940 while on their way to California for Winthrop to serve in World War II. She was preceded in death by her husband, Winthrop on July 16, 1990, her parents, her brothers, Gayle and Dick Spencer, her sister Arlene LeBree. In her later years, Jean enjoyed spending time gambling with Blanche Mahar and Blanche’s daughters. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Winn Jr. and Penny Setchfield of Caledonia; her daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Joseph Cooper of Belding. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, Jamie and Walter Dolph, Traci and Dewayne Botruff and Shawne and Kevin Boring all of Caledonia, Dr. Matt and Lynn Cooper, Shelly Cooper, Angie and Mike Wood, Lori Cooper, Joe Cooper Jr. and Dennis Cooper all of Belding; ten great-grandchildren, Jenna and Nicole Dolph, Brandon and Kelsey Botruff and Tyler Wood all of Belding; her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Bruce and Sara Setchfield of Independence, MO, Beryl and Idabell Setchfield of Grand Rapids and several nieces and nephews. She is also survived by two every special friends, Blanche Mahar and Faye Sage of Belding. Funeral services for Marion will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. Dick Woodward officiating. Interment will be in River Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
