He had been in poor health for some time. He was born in Chicago, Ill., June 15, 1857, and had been employed with the Marshall-Wright Lumber company in Saranac for some time. Mrs. Setter died six years ago. Survivors are three stepdaughters, Mrs. Cora White and Mrs. Flo Stein, of Ionia, and Mrs. Verda Morse of Lowell, and three nieces. Funeral services were conducted Thursday morning, March 24, at 10 o’clock from the Densmore funeral home in Saranac. Rev. John R. Gerhing officiated. Interment was in the Saranac cemetery. Bearers were Robert Brown, Allen Cobb, Harvey Brown and Fred Peck, of Saranac.
