Services Held for Mattie M. Seybold

Mrs. Mattie M. Seybold, 78, of rural Sunfield, died Thursday, August 7, at the 
Ionia Memorial Hospital following a short illness.

Mrs. Seybold was born July 8, 1897 in Ionia County, a daughter of Frank and 
Ellen (Cook) Cross. Her husband, Herbert, died in 1974. She was a member of the 
Sebewa Church of God.

Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Ethel Zander of Ionia, two sons, Leland of 
Sunfield and Kenneth of Portland, 6 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

Services were held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Barker-Letz Funeral Home in 
Mulliken with Rev. David Shrable officiating. Burial was in Danby Cemetery.
