Lake Odessa Wave -Times Thurs. July 11, 1929

MRS. JOHN SEYBOLD DIED TUES. MORNING

Mrs.John Seybold, one of the elderly ladies well known in Odessa township, 
passed away after a short illness at her home northeast of town Tuesday morning.

Mrs. Seybold has been subject to heart trouble for some time but was never very 
ill or considered dangerous.

Her's was a very active nature and during the winter months, rather than stay 
alone she would keep house for some one with out a house keeper and then go back 
to her home for the summer. She often remarked about the bother of our changing 
the address of her paper so often.

Mrs.Seybold made many friends, was of a genial nature and most emphatic in her 
ideas of right and wrong. She enjoyed coming to town on Saturdays to visit with 
her friends of other days.

Several years ago Mr.Seybold who was a supervisor from this township many years, 
passed away.

She leaves two sons, Melborn Seybold of Alberta, Canada and Herbert Seybold of 
Woodland township.

Funeral arrangements have not been completed as they are waiting for the arrival 
of the son from the Northwest, but it is thought the funeral will be Friday.
