SEYMOUR
Diane Lynne Seymour aged 64, of Ionia passed away November 5, 2020. She was born 
November 9, 1955 in Ionia, Michigan the daughter of Jerry and Elaine (Peabody) 
Cook.

Diane married Jim Seymour September 3, 1983 on Mackinac Island. She worked at 
Ionia Public Schools until retiring after 25 years. Diane loved spending time 
with family and friends as well as being outdoors taking care of her gardens. 
She was known for her cooking and loved sharing recipes. Diane's focus in life 
was family and taking care of others.

Survived by her loving husband of 37 years, Jim Seymour of Ionia. Son Jas 
(Jenny) Seymour of Ionia. Father Jerry Cook of Orleans, Siblings; Barb 
Hausserman of Ionia, Carol (Ron) Starks of Ionia, Debbie (Ron) Brownell of Muir, 
Angie (Bill) Mentzer of Wisconsin and Nancy Cook of Ionia. Grand dog Harleigh. 
Several nieces and Nephews and Cousins.

She was preceded in death by her mother Elaine.

There will be a visitation for Diane on SundayNovember 8 from Noon to 4:00 p.m. 
at the Lake Funeral Home in Ionia. Private services will be held on Monday. In 
lieu of flowers those wishing may make memorial contributions to Ionia Community
