Ionia Sentinel-Standard - Mon. Oct. 28, 1968

A former Ionia resident, Leo E. Seymour, Sr., 72, of 26637 West Chicago, 
Detroit, died suddenly at St. Marys hospital at Livonia.

He was born June 16, 1896 the son of Alfred and Lillie Simard. He lived in the 
Ionia area from 1937 until 1945. Before his retirement he was employed by 
Fisher Body in Detroit.

Surviving are his wife, Doris; five sons, Leo Jr.,Robert, William, James and 
John and one daughter, Mrs. Harry Leadley; 23 grandchildren; and three sisters. 

Mr. Seymour, Sr., will be at Harry J. Will funeral home at 25450 Plymouth road, 
Detroit until time of services which will be Tuesday at 9 am at St. Robert 
Bellarmime church in Detroit. Interment will be at Hold Sepulchre cemetery at 
Southfield.
