SARAH A. SHAFER
Lake Odessa, MI - Sarah A. Shafer, age 18, of Lake Odessa, passed away on May 
10, 2017

Sarah was born on July 14, 1998 in Muskegon to Randy and Cristina (Morgan) 
Shafer. She was a 2016 graduate of Lakewood High School.

Sarah was known for her kindness, light and joy that she brought to others. 
She was also a published author and avid reader.

Sarah will be dearly missed by her mother, Christina; siblings, Nacole 
Rieger, Kyle (Ashleigh) Rieger, Alan Shafer: grandparents, Mary (Judy) 
Morgan; aunts, Jaime Shafer and Angie Morgan; great-grandmothers, Achsah 
Blochowiak and Freda Morgan; along with cousins and friends.

Preceding her in death are her father, Randy; grandparents, Tom and Carol 
Shafer.

A memorial to celebrate Sarah's life will be held on Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at 
the Koop Funeral Chapel at 5 p.m. Memorials in her name can be given to a 
charity of the donor's choosing.
