                             HELEN SHANNON

Helen Shannon, 65, who resided at 304 W.High St. here for many years, died 
Wednesday, May 4 at Charlevoix hospital after a four month illness.

The former Helen Neve, she was married April 2, 1913 at Ionia to Stahlin 
Shannon. She was born January 11, 1895 at Pierson, Mich., the daughter of 
Charles and Eliza (Eastwood) Neve.

She was a member of the Congregational Church and the Order of the Eastern Star.

Surviving are her husband, Stalin, a son, Martin of Charlevoix, a daughter, 
Mrs.Orville (Katherine) Spencer of Belding, three brothers, Alfred Neve of 
Greenville, Charles and Page Neve of Pierson, four sisters, Mrs.Leon Gleason of 
Belding, Mrs.Roy Chilburg of Scottville, Mr.Gladys Beduhn of Detroit and Miss 
Agnes Neve of Pierson,s even grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Funeral services were held on Saturday at the Ellis Chapel in Belding. Rev.H.S. 
Ellis and Thos. Rebentisch officiating.

Burial was in River Ridge Cemetery.
