Mrs. Catherine Sharick, age 80 years, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. 
James Straub, 417 Pleasant street, Wednesday afternoon at 1 o’clock.  Mrs. 
Sharick is survived by three daughters, Mrs. James Straub, Mrs. Harry Walton of 
Toledo, Ohio, and Miss Fannie Sharick of Lansing.  Mrs. Sharick has been a 
resident of Ionia for many years.  Mr. Sharick formerly operated the mill on 
the sight where the armory now stands.  For the past six years she had made her 
home with her daughter.  A twilight funeral service will be held from the 
residence, 417 Pleasant street, Friday evening at 7 o’clock.  Rev. W. K. 
Spencer will officiate.  The body will be taken to Morus Saturday morning, 
where the burial will take place in the family lot.
