Ionia Standard - Fri. Nov. 8, 1907

Ed. Sharkey, a patient in asylum for three years, died Saturday at age of 38. 
He was the owner of a good farm when he became afflicted with epilepsy, and was 
sent to Kalamazoo asylum, and from there to asylum here. It is supposed that 
his estate was sufficient to meet charges for maintenance.
