Ionia County News - 25 July 1935
Mrs. John Sharkey, 80, died at her home, 420 Lewis, on Thursday morning following 
nine months of illness which followed a severe stroke.  She was Ella Krick as a 
girl, having been born and raised in Ionia county.  Funeral services were held 
from the Fales funeral home Saturday afternoon with interment in Higbee cemetery.  
Surviving beside the husband is a sister, Mrs. Hattie Doxie near Haynor, and six 
step-children.

Rev. F. H. Cramer of the Methodist church accompanied by his family is taking a 
three week's vacation.  On Sunday next, Rev. G. W. Maxwell, of Kalamazoo, a former 
pastor, will have charge of the morning services at 10:30.
