The machine was ditched and Mrs. Sharkey suffered a fracture of the skull, living but a few hours. Her husband, who was driving, escaped injury. The Sharkeys formerly resided on the Francis Fox farm in Danby and after leaving that place they spent some time with their daughter, Mrs. Harry Kirkham, who, with her husband, lives on Warren Griffin’s farm in Danby. It was only last Wednesday that Mr. and Mrs. Sharkey moved their household goods to Battle Creek, where they resided before coming to Danby, and before settling they decided to go to Jackson to visit relatives. It was while on the way home that the accident happened. Mr. and Mrs. Kirkham went to Battle Creek immediately on receipt of the news, remaining for the funeral, which was held Sunday.
