The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Tuesday, March 11, 1980

Raymond Sharp, 81, died March 7 at his home in Ashland, Oregon.  He was born 
in 1898, the son of Frank and Rachael Sharp.

A World War I veteran, he went to Alaska in 1922 and married Carol Page in 
1945.  They moved to Oregon in 1947.  She preceded him in death in January, 
1980.

He is survived by two brothers, Frank and Lewis of Ionia, and several nieces 
and nephews.
