The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Monday, August 16, 1926

Mrs. Frank Sharp, 76, prominent resident of Easton township, died Sunday 
evening at her home.  She had been in failing health the past year and had 
been confined to her bed nearly all summer.  Death was due to old age. 

Mrs. Sharp was a member of the Dexter Methodist church and Aid Society and was 
always an active worker, having been a resident of that vicinity for many 
years.  She was born near Niles.  

Surviving are one son, Vernon Hulen, by a former marriage; several 
stepchildren, Mrs. Harry Dye of South Ionia, Louis Sharp and Mrs. David of 
Grand Ledge; Raymond Sharp, who is in Alaska; Frank Sharp, of Ionia; and Miles 
Sharp; two sisters; two brothers, who reside in Minnesota; one granddaughter, 
Mrs. Irma Townsend, of Grand Rapids, and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held from the residence Tuesday morning at 10 
o’clock, Rev. George Beacock officiating.  Burial will be made in the family 
lot at Easton cemetery.
