The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Tuesday, September 7, 1937
Funeral services were held Tuesday morning at 10:30 o’clock from the Shaw 
funeral chapel in Muir for Daniel W. Sharp, who died Sunday, September 5 at 
the age of 90 years.  He was born in Connecticut in 1847 and was later married 
to Eliza Radford of Brooklyn, New York.  They lived for several years in 
Minneapolis, Minn. Where he was superintendent of a street car business.  He 
came to Michigan in 1914 and has resided here since.  

Interment was at Muir cemetery where his wife is also buried.
