Ionia Sentinel-Standard - Sat. April 13, 2013

Phyllis Lorraine (Losey) Sharpe, 85, of Grand Rapids/Ionia, passed away 
peacefully Wednesday, April 10, 2013. She was preceded in death by her husband, 
Richard Keith Sharpe.

She was a wonderful stepmother to E. Lynne (Thomas) O’Rourke, Jamie Carl 
Castor, Pam Castor, Casey (Gayle) Sharpe; grandmother to Kevin O’Rourke, 
Colleen O’Rourke and Justin Castor; great grandmother to Evan Jasinski, Emilia 
Jasinski, Hailey Castor, Isabella Castor and Adrianna Castor.

Phyllis loved all animals and wildlife, especially her dog friends Ally and 
Rascal. The family would like to extend their appreciation for the wonderful 
treatment and care given by the staffs of the Rehab Center at Maple Creek and 
Spectrum Blodgett.

Upon her request cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held 
Wednesday 7:30 p.m. at O’Brien-Eggebeen-Gerst Chapel, 3980 Cascade Road, Grand 
Rapids. Deacon Dennis Williams officiating. Visitation 6-7:30 p.m.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Kent County Humane 
Society, 3077 Wilson NW Grand Rapids, MI 49534.
