Gideon Kane Shattuck, 3, of Wyoming, was taken by angels into the loving arms 
of Jesus, Sunday, Oct. 14, 2001, after suffering from acute Myeloid leukemia.

He was born Dec. 31, 1997, in Grand Rapids the precious son of Steven and Jane 
Gay Shattuck.

Gideon is survived by his parents and two sisters, Autumn and Haven.  He is 
also survived by his grandparents, Doug and Judy Shattuck of Ionia and Claudeen 
Gay and great uncle, Judge Gay of Belding, and special friend Dan Main, a 
P.O.R.T. volunteer at the hospital.

Funeral services for Gideon will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Johnson-Feuerstein 
Funeral Home, Belding, with Pastor Byron Davey officiating.  Interment will be 
in River Ridge Cemetery.

Visitation is 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral 
home.  Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Michigan.
