Shattuck Had Been Resident of Same Home in Ionia for 35 Years; Leaves Many Descendants. ____________________________ Mrs. Lucy A. Shattuck, age 79, and for many years a resident of Ionia, passed away at the family home, 611 Bayard street, at 1:30 this morning, after a long and serious illness. For the past 35 years Mrs. Shattuck had lived in the same house on Bayard street, where death occurred this morning. Mr. and Mrs. Shattuck were married 59 years ago in the last year of the Civil war, 1865. Besides her husband, Ed Shattuck, she is survived by three sons, Fred Shattuck, Orin Shattuck, and William Shattuck, of Ionia. She is also survived by two daughters, Mrs. Mamie Sarine, of Hastings and Mrs. Leola Randall, of Ionia. She is also survived by one sister, Mrs. Mary Bateman, of Ionia, 21 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. The funeral services will beheld from the late home Tuesday afternoon, at 1:30 and from the Methodist Episcopal church at 2 o'clock. Rev. Charles J. Kruse will officiate.
