Henry Edward Shattuck, 70, of Ionia, passed away March 25, 2004 in Ionia. He 
was born September 18, 1933 in Ionia the son of Lewis and Grace (Bonoite) 
Shattuck. 

He married Leona Thomas in 1954. He was a Korean War veteran. He worked for 
the Post Office, the City of Ionia and for the landfill.

He is survived by his daughters, April and Rex Davis of Ionia, Tina and Jim 
Garrison of Ionia; mother, Grace (Shattuck) Gallup; brothers, Dale and Bonnie 
Shattuck of Saranac, Joe and Shirley Shattuck of Ionia, Tom Shattuck of Ionia, 
Charlie Shattuck of Ionia; sisters, Shirley Shields of Muir, Greta and William 
Neilson of Ionia, Gay Ann Cupps of Lyons, Clair and Tom Wilson of Ionia, Teri 
and Robert Bowerman of Ionia, Elly and Paul Bairefoot of Ionia, Lu Ann and 
Mike Reed of Ionia; six grandchildren; two great grandchildren, many relatives 
and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Lewis; brother, Russell; and 
stepfather, Manly Gallup.

A memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Monday at Sunset Memorial Gardens with 
Rev. Ken Harger officiating. Arraignments by Lake Funeral Home in Ionia.
