                                ROBERT EARL SHATTUCK

IONIA-Robert Earl Shattuck, 73, of 629 Bayard St.,Ionia, died Aug. 18, at his 
home.

He was born Sept. 22, 1912, in Dollarville, the son of Oren and Mary Randall 
Shattuck. He attended Ionia Public Schools, He was retired from A.O. Smith Corp.

He married Ellen White on Sept.19, 1936 in Lyons.

A son, John, preceded him in death in 1970. Six brothers and other close 
relatives also preceded him in death.

Surviving are his wife, Ellen; four daughters, Sharon Moore, Georgia Misner, 
Susan Martin and Dana Hernadez, all of Ionia; three sons, Larry and Frank 
Shattuck of Ionia and Robert Shattuck of Lowell; 17 grandchildren; 14 great-
grandchildren; four sisters, Lucille Meyers of Baldwin, Louise Hope and Margie 
Farrell of Ionia, and Alice Dulek of Belding; two half-sisters, Edna Dunn of 
Grand Rapids and Ruby Randal of Hastings; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. at the Montgomery-Leddick 
Funeral Home, with the Rev. F.Michael Valentine of the First Christian Church 
officiating.

Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens.

The family will be at the funeral home Wednesday from 3 to 5 p.m. and from 7 to 
8:30 p.m.
