                          Donald Edward Shattuck

Donald Edward Shattuck, age 78 of Ionia passed away Sept.3, 2010 inIonia.

He was born September 25, 1931 in Ionia ths son of Oren E.and Elizabeth 
(Andrews) Shattuck. Donald married Bonnie Helderop March 22, 1952 She preceded 
him in death June of 2008. he was a member of the Army National Guard, Temple 
Baptist Church and worked at Michigan Reformatory for 25 years before retiring 
in 1987.

Donald is survived by his children, Joyce(Rick) Maloley of Grand Rapids, Carol 
Shattuck of Troy, Donald E. (Mary) Shattuck II of Ionia and Stephen (Annette) 
Shattuck of Ionia; brother, Oren E.(Alice) Shattuck of Ionia; sisters, Barb 
(Ben) Stapish of Hastings and Laura (Joe) Rademacher of Grand Ledge; 
grandchildren, Aaron (Wendy) Wetzel of Holland, Brett Maloleu of Grand Rapids, 
Richard (Tabby) Maloley of Grand Rapids, Donald E.Shattuck III of Ionia, Amanda 
Shattuck of Florida, Stephen Shattuck II of North Carolina,Christopher (Mallory) 
Shattuck fo Georgia, Kyle Shattuck of Ionia and Kaylee of Ionia and several 
great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, grandson, Tim Wetzel and brother 
Bud Bishop.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, 11 a.m. at lake Funeral Home in Ionia 
with Pastor John Clark officiating. Interment Easton Cemetery. The family will 
receive family and relatives Tuesday, 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral 
home. Anyone wishing may make memorial contributions in Donald's name to Temple 
Baptist church of Sarah Care Adult Care Centers. Online condolences may be made
