                           Laureen D. Shattuck

Laureen D. Shattuck, 69, of Fenwick passed away Monday morning Nov. 8, 2010 at 
home. Laureen was born on Feb. 20, 1941 in Grand Rapids, the daughter of John 
S.and Mildred Scema Brent. She was a member of the Moose Lodge in Ionia.

Laureen was preceded by her husband,John Shattuck in 1996; her parents; two 
brothers, Larry Brent and Bob Brent; and two sons in infancy.

She is survived by her children, Joseph and Bridgette Smith, Raymond Smith all 
of Orleans, Jaclyn Shattuck-Howard and Brian Howard of Ionia. Charlene and Larry 
Beard of Fenwick and step-son, Dennis and Debra Shattuck of Belding. Laureen is 
also survived by six grandchildren, one great grandson and one sister, Patricia 
Morgan of Springfield, Missouri and sister-in-law, Jane Brent of Grand Rapids.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, at Shiloh Community Church with 
Pastor Ken Harger officiating.Visitation will be one hour before the service at 
the church.

Private interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Sheridan.Memorials may be given 
to the wishes of the family. Funeral Care has been entrusted to Johnson-
