Forrest L. Shattuck aged 88 of Ionia passed away November 12, 2006 in Ionia. 
He was born April 19, 1918 in Ionia the son of John and Viola (Nave) Shattuck. 
Forrest was a Army veteran of WWII where he received the Purple Heart. He was 
a member of Saranac American Legion and the VFW Post in Sheridan.  

Forrest is survived by his children Sandra and Robert Misner of Ionia, Judy 
and Walter Brown of Mulliken, Forrest and Shirley Shattuck Jr. of Lyons, 
Jessie Jean Foster of Ionia, Becky and Steve Peters of Ionia; brother Clyde 
and June Shattuck of Florida; sister, Doris Green of Ionia; 19 grandchildren, 
many great grandchildren and many special friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife Opal in 2003; daughters, Billy Jo and 
Mickey and several brothers and sisters.

A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM, Wednesday at Lake Funeral Home in 
Ionia with Rev. Jerry Polk officiating.
