Ionia Sentinel Standard, 16 Jun 1961

Saranac – C. Lloyd Shaver, died Saturday June 10 at the Grandville Rest home,
after a lengthy illness.  He was born in Berlin township March 12, 1877, the son
of Mr. and Mrs. Phillip Shaver.

Surviving besides his wife, Ferne, are one daughter, Mrs. Mike (Maxine) Reedy of
Lansing, four grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, one sister, Lillian Shaver
of Lansing.

Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 from the Morris funeral
home with Rev. Howard Bull officiating.  Burial was in Saranac cemetery.
