Lake Odessa Wave-Fri. February 2, 1906

OBITUARY
Mrs.Joseph Shaver aged 83 years died at her home east of Woodbury on Tuesday 
night Jan.23, of cancer. She has been a long time sufferer of the dreadful 
disease. She was buried on Sunday the thirty-fifth anniversary of her marriage. 
Besides her husband aged 80 years she leaves three sons and two daughters. One 
son in Wisconsin was unable to attend his mother's funeral. Mrs Shaver was a 
member of W.R.C. at Sunfield. The ladies of this Corps attended the funeral in a 
body. Funeral services were conducted from the house by Rev. W.D. Straton of the 
U.B.church Lake Odessa.Burial was in Lakeside cemetery.
