The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Tuesday, May 8, 1990

Mildred K. Shaw, 77, of 318 Adams Street, Ionia, died May 5.  She was born 
July 10, 1912, in Ionia, the daughter of Dan and Louise (Dreger) Fuller.  She 
attended Ionia High School.  Shaw married William Shaw in Ionia in 1941.  The 
couple lived in Ionia.

Surviving her are her husband, William; one son, Sgt. Major Glenn Shaw of the 
United States Army stationed in California; one daughter, Mrs. James (Irene) 
Johnson of Ionia; two sisters, Mrs. Edna Kacso of Indianapolis, Ind.; and Mrs. 
Kate Fuller of Florida.  Also surviving her are three grandchildren and two 
great-grandchildren.  Three sisters and one brother preceded her in death.

Cremation has taken place and a graveside service will be held on Thursday at 
1 p.m. at Balcom Cemetery.  The Rev. Kenneth Harger of the Shiloh Community 
Church will officiate.  A memorial has been established in Shaw’s name for the 
Cardiac Care Unit of Ionia County Memorial Hospital.  Arrangements have been 
made by Hull Memorial Chapel in Muir.
