Ionia County News-Thurs. May 31, 1923

Pioneer Residents of Muir Pass Beyond
George N. Shaw passed away at his home Saturday evening at the age of 86 years. He
is survived by a son, George I. Shaw, of Muir, and a daughter, Mrs. Edith Ackley of
Colorado Springs, Colo., and three grandchildren, Dorothy Shaw, Mary Jean Shaw and Betty Jane
Ackley. 

Funeral services were held from the residence Tuesday afternoon. Rev. W. K.Spencer 
officiating. Interment in the Muir cemetery.
