Dec. 9, 1972 MRS. NAOMA SHAW Lake Odessa - Mrs. Naoma Shaw, 70, of Lake Odessa, died Friday morning at Pennock hospital in Hastings. She had been a patient two weeks. Born June 19, 1902 in Lake Odessa, she was a daughter of Orris and Ida Rush Cooley. She was a lifelong resident of the area. February 11, 1921 she was married to Robert Shaw who died April 24, 1968. She was a member of Lakewood United Methodist church, West Odessa Missionary Society, Blue Star mothers of America, LaVerne Demaray unit of American legion Auxiliary. Surviving are four sons, Robert O Shaw of lake Odessa, Ray J. Shaw of Portland, George W. Shaw of Charlotte, and Ralph J. of Eaton Rapids; two daughters, Mrs. Vern Ackley of Lake Odessa, Mrs. Loren Pallas of Long Beach, calif.; 14 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Esther Kart; one brother, LaVerne Cooley of Lake Odessa. Services will be Sunday at Pickens Funeral chapel in lake Odessa at 2 pm. Rev. Charles Dunbar will officiate and burial will be in Lakeside cemetery.
