ELMER SHAW DIES AT THE AGE OF 38
Elmer Shaw, 38, died last Thursday at the Ionia County Memorial Hospital.

Mr. Shaw was a resident of Odessa township and had resided in this vicinity all 
of his life. He had formerly been employed at the Lake Odessa Canning Co. He had 
been ill a long period and had been in the hospital the past two weeks.

Surviving are his mother Mrs. Hummel of Lake Odessa; a brother, William; and a 
sister, Mrs. Francis Simmons, both of Ionia; Mrs. Gladys Richardson of Grand 
Ledge.

Services were held from the Pickens Bros. Funeral Home Monday at 2 PM with 
burial inLakeside Cemetery.
