E. church at Fenwick, for Alfred N. Shaw, 73, who died Sunday after being admitted to the Sheridan Community hospital following a heart attack. He was born September 20, 1886 in Fairplains township, Montcalm County, and had lived most of his life in the Fenwick area. He was a painter and decorator by trade. Mr. Shaw was a veteran of World War I and served in France and Germany and was a member of the American Legion. He was a member of the Fenwick Methodist church. In 1950 he was married to Margaret E. Worden who survives him. Besides his wife he is survived by a brother, Edway Shaw of California and a niece, Mrs. Beatrice Moss of Flint. The body of Mr. Shaw will be at the Stebbins funeral home at Sheridan until time for the service. Interment will be at the Palo cemetery.
