The Ionia County News, Thursday, March 14, 1929


Glen Shawm, 47 years old, died at his farm residence north of this place 
Saturday evening following a lingering illness, thought an after affect of the 
flu.

He leaves his wife and six children, one brother James, of Grand Ledge, two 
sisters and an aged father and mother.

The funeral was held Monday afternoon at Central Methodist church of Lake 
Odessa and burial in Lakeside Cemetery.
