Ionia County News, 10 Jun 1943

Earl F. Sheaffer, 50, 714 East  Main street, died in St. Lawrence hospital,
Lansing Tuesday afternoon, June 8.  He was born June 1, 1893, in North Plains
township, the son of Mr. and Mrs. U.F. Sheaffer.  In October 1916, he was
married to Jennie Woodmansee of Lyons township.  They lived in North Plains
until about 10 years ago when they came to Ionia where Mr. Sheaffer was employed
by the Ypsilanti Reed Furniture company.

He is survived by his widow, Jennie and three children, Frederick of Greenville,
Mary and Harold at home and two grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 Friday afternoon at 714 East Main street.
 Rev. Paul Stewart will officiate and burial will be at East Plains cemetery.
