Ionia Sentinel Standard, 26 May 1984

Hazelle A. Sheere, 78, of 606 N. Johnson St., Ionia, formerly of Lansing, died 
Friday morning at Kent Community Hospital in Grand Rapids.  She was born March 
26, 1906, in Grand Ledge, the daughter of Albert W. and Effa B. Manley 
Stackman.  She was married August 25, 1928, to Russell Sheere.  He died June 
15, 1965.  She has lived in Ionia since 1977.  She is a member of the Women of 
the Moose Lodge 478.

Surviving are one son: Marvin R. Sheere of Huntington, N.Y.; one daughter: Ann 
M. Tissue of Ionia; two sisters: Doris DeGryse and Vivian Lawrence, both of 
Springport; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11 a.m. from the Roetman Funeral 
Home in Ionia.  Committal services will be held Tuesday at 3 p.m. in Evergreen 
Cemetery in Lansing.  The family will be at the funeral home Sunday from 7 to 9 
p.m. and Monday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.
