Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard - Sat. April 22, 1944

Walter (Leon) Sheldon, 83, former Saranac resident died Friday at his home in 
Battle Creek. He was born July 7, 1860 in Vermont and had spent many years in 
Saranac. His wife died 24 years ago.

Surviving is a sister, Mrs. Bell Sheldon Ellsworth and a brother, Fred Sheldon 
of Chicago and a nephew, Leon Ellsworth of Chicago.

Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the Morris 
funeral home Saranac. Burial will be in  Easton Cemetery.
