Ionia Daily Sentinel Standard, 3 Jul 1936

Word was received in Ionia by A. E. Stebbins of the death of Clifford Sheldon at
his home at Palo Alto, California, Thursday, July 2.  His body is being sent to
Grand Rapids and will arrive Monday afternoon and will be brought to the
Stebbins funeral home.

Mr. Sheldon, 65, a former Saranac resident was a retired naval officer having
served in the Navy for 30 years.  He is survived by his wife, Lorraine Feree
Sheldon.

Funeral services will be held from the Congregational church in Saranac, Tuesday
afternoon, July 7 at 2 o’clock.  Interment in Saranac cemetery.
