Ionia County News, 25 May 1961

Bert Albert Sheldon, 56, died on May 20, 1961, as a result of a car collision on
M-44 east of Belding in Orleans township.  He was born in Lyons on February 5,
1905, the son of Adelbert Sheldon and Jennie Gurnsey.  He resided at 408
Woodland in Belding for 37 years.  
	
Mr. Sheldon was an engineer at Mitchell-Bentley Corp. in Ionia and belonged to
Lodge B.P.O Elks.

He married Bernice A. Marlette on May 5, 1928.

Surviving are his wife; one daughter, Mrs. Dale (Margaret) Crawford of Greenville.

Funeral services were on Tuesday, May 23, at the Huffman funeral home with Rev.
H. Ellis officiating.  Interment was at Rest Haven Memory Gardens in Ionia County.
