                              Arthur H. Sheldon

LAKE ODESSA-Arthur H. Sheldon, 52, of 4373 West Clarksville Road, Lake Odessa, 
died Thursday in Ferguson-Droste-Ferguson Hospital,Grand Rapids.

He was born June 21, 1933, in Clarksville, the son of Kenneth and Lucy 
Richardson Sheldon. He attended Clarksville Schools and served in the U.S. Army 
from 1953 to 1955.

He was married to Dorothy McGlamey June 8, 1956, in Middleville.

Employed at Fisher Body in Lansing for 17 1/2 years, he retired because of ill 
health in April.

He was a member of the Sebewa Church of God.

Surviving are his wife; two sons, Arthur and Larry at home; three daughters, 
Debra Sheldon of Alto and Kimberley Miller and Lenore Sheldon at home.

Also surviving are his mother, Lucy Sheldon of Clarksville; four brothers, 
Richard and Robert of Clarksville; Kenneth of Ada and Leo of Grand Rapids; and a 
sister, Roslyn Sheldon of Clarksville.

Funeral services will be Monday at 1 p.m from Koops Funeral Chapel, Lake Odessa, 
with the Rev. George Aton officiating.

The family will be at the funeral home Saturday and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 
9 p.m.

A memorial has been established for Ionia COunty Hospice.
