                         Amanda "Mandy" Ann Sheldon

Amanda "Mandy" Ann Sheldon, 24, of North Carolina formerly of Belding, passed 
away Oct.7, 2010. She was born Feb.17, 1986 in Grand Rapids.

She graduated from Belding High School in 2004. Amanda was enlisted in the Army 
since 2005 and was currently ranked as a Sergeant.

She is survived by her parents Renee (Gary) Orcutt of Ada; grandparents Kenneth 
Sheldon of Ada, Roger (Vicki) Faulkner of Ada, and Jack Orcutt of Grand Rapids; 
great grandmother Dorothy Theisen of Lowell; brothers, Zachary Orcutt of Ada and 
Joshua Orcutt of Ada; sisters, Samantha Orcutt of Belding and Shelbie Orcutt of 
Ada; aunts and uncles, Wendy Sheldon of Florida, Pam Sheldon of Holland, Linda 
Orcutt of Grand Rapids, Christine Orcutt of Grand Rapids, Kenneth Sheldon III of 
the U.p., Shawn Sheldon of Grand Rapids, and David Orcutt of Grand Rapids; one 
nephew Braden Granger-Orcutt; and many great-aunts, uncles ad cousins; special 
friend Sgt. Brian Williams, and her military family of the 18th Fires Brigade.

Amanda was preceded in death by grandmothers, Sally Sheldon and Dolores Orcutt 
and Uncle Billy Sheldon.

Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Monday at Ada Bible church located at 8899 
Cascade Road S.E. in Ada. Pastor Sam Wells will be officiating the service. 
Interment Saranac Cemetery. The family will receive friends and relatives 2 to 4 
p.m and 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday and 2-4 pm. and 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Lake Funeral 
Home in Ionia.
