Lake Odessa Wave - July 7, 1977
           RITES HERE FOR FORMER RESIDENT
   Paul L. Shellenbarger, 44, of 216 Dallas St., Colon, former Lake Odessa resident,
passed away Monday 
evening at Irons, Mich., where he and his wife were visiting friends.
   He was born May 9, 1933 at Lake Odessa, the son ofAlbert (Hap) and Dorothy
(Bever) Shellenbarger and 
was a 1951 graduate of the Woodland High School.
   He married Lorraine Hulliberger Tasker June 8, 1969 at Clark Lake.
   Paul was employed by the Great Plains Chemical Company at Niles, attended the
Factoryvill Bible Church at 
Athens and was a veteran of the Korean conflict.
   Surviving are his wife; two sons, Steven and Mark; two daughters, Suanna and
Beth, all of Lake Odessa; his 
parents, Albert and Dorothy Shellenbarger of Lake Odessa; two brothers, Lee and wife
Doris Shellenbarger of 
Lake Odessa and Ron and Kay Bodenmueller of Woodland.
   Mrs. Shellenbarger reposes at the Pickens-Koops Funeral Chapel, Lake Odessa where
services will e held 
Thursday (today) at 1:30 p.m. Rev. Merritt Johnson, Rev. Floyd Soper and Rev. Bill
Stevens will officiate, with 
burial in Lakeside Cemetery. 
   The family requests memorial contributions be made to the Brethren Navajo Mission
at Counselor, New 
Mexico.
