Lake Odessa Wave-Times Thurs. April 12, 1906

Frank Shellenbarger, a former resident of this place, and a brother of Jules and 
Andrew Shellenbarger, died at his home near Lansing Monday. He had been ailing 
for some time with heart trouble but was thought to be gaining when a sudden 
change took place. Deceases was converted during the Arney revival at this place 
and was a member of the local Congregational Church. He was crippled in one leg 
and walked with the aid of a crutch. Those who knew him speak of him in most 
favorable terms and his demise is sadly regretted. The remains were brought here 
for burial.
