Mrs. Shellenbarger Dies Following Illness

Mrs. Lucia E. Shellenbarger, 53, died at the convalescent home in Ionia Tuesday 
evening following a long illness.

She was born in Campbell township, September 19, 1895, the daughter of Alonzo and 
Emma Cushman Walter.

Surviving are the husband, Whitney B. (Babe), six daughters Mrs. Ruth Mier and 
Mrs. Jacqueline Kammers of Ionia, Mrs. Violet Corder of Saranac, Mrs. Naomi 
Goupell of Greenville, Myrtle and Emma at home, two sons, Harold K. Train, 
Lansing and Junior B. at home, five sisters and three brothers and thirteen 
grandchildren. 

Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 at the Pickens chapel with burial in 
Clarksville cemetery, Rev. Forrest Mohr will officiate.
