Ionia Sentinel Standard - November 5, 1984
           PERRY M. SHEPARD
   LAKE ODESSA - Perry M. Shepard, 60, of 4173 E. Brown Road, Lake Odessa, died
Saturday in Pennock 
Hospital, Hastings.
   He was born Nov. 27, 1923, in Lakeview, the son of Lawrence and Georgiana Culver
Shepard.  He attended 
schools in Detroit and served in the U.S. army during World War II.
   He was married to Betty Stair on April 4, 1947, in Lake Odessa.  He was employed
by E. W. Bliss 
Manufacturing Co. of Hastings for 38 years.
   Surviving are his wife, three sons, Rick of Hastings and Ron and Randy at home;
one daughter, Renee Minnis 
of Woodland; three grandchildren; two brothers, Lloyd of Hastings and Keith of
Delton.
   Funeral services will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. from the Koops Funeral Chapel, Lake
Odessa, with the Rev. 
George Speas officiating.
   Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery.
   The family will be at the funeral chapel from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday.
