Mrs. Ada M. Shepard, aged 66, passed away at her home in Grand Rapids Saturday 
morning, and funeral services were held at Sullivan Funeral Home Tuesday 
afternoon, the Rev. Clarence A. Lawton officiating.  Interment was made in 
Saranac cemetery.

Before the death of her husband John, the family lived on a farm southeast of 
Lowell and were well known in the community.

Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Harold Shilling of Jenison, Mrs. Russell 
Videan of Ada and Mrs. Paul Page of Grand Rapids; seven sons, Stephen Weaver 
of Ft. Custer, Maurice Weaver, Robert, John, Gerald and Harold Shepard, all of 
Grand Rapids and Floyd Shepard of Alto; a brother, Herbert Knapp of 
Clarksville, and thirty-one grandchildren.
