Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, 17 Jan 1962

Getz Sher, 50, of Rockford, died unexpectedly at 2:30 Thursday morning at 
Blodgett hospital in Grand Rapids, following a heart attack. 

He was a former resident of Ionia and employed at Peschke Packing company 10 
years.  He moved from Ionia in the late 1950s. 

He is survived by his wife, Lorraine; a son, Lt. Richard Sher of United States 
Army; two brothers and one sister.

The body was removed to Johnsons Mortuary in Duluth, Minn., for services there.
