Excerpts from Sheridan Obituary

RONALD SHERD of rural Sheridan
Died March 29, 2021-age 87.
Born November 28, 1933 in Bushnell Township
The son of Leslie and Mildred (Hoyt) Sherd.
A proud veteran of the U.S. Air force, served during Korean War.
A life member of the VFW post #5065 in Sheridan.
Married Mary Jensen, Jan, 18, 1980 in Belding, enjoying over 41 years together.
They traveled all over the United States and beyond, wintering out West.
Retired from General Motors after 30 years, then drove school bus.
Attended Fenwick United Methodist Church for many years.
Survived by his wife, Mary, children, Ron (Nancy) Sherd Jr., of Lansing, Brenda 
(Doug) Bourne of Grand Island, Nebraska, Russ (Diane) Lake of Stanton, ten 
grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, his sister, Betty (Dick) Harriman of 
Sheridan, nieces, nephews, extended family & friends.
Preceded in death by  parents, brothers; Joe, Bob, Harold, Gerald, Duane, 
Harland, his sisters; Velma and Dorothy.
Private graveside services later with Pastor Larry Nalett officiating.
Memorial contributions directed toward The Sheridan VFW Post #5065 or Sparrow 
Home Hospice.
