Ionia Sentinel Standard, 2 Jan 2002

Raymond P. Sherman, 60, of Lake passed away Jan. 10, 2002 at Spectrum Health,
Butterworth Campus in Grand Rapids of complications from a stroke.  He was
employed by the Onalimb Tree Service for four years in Lake George.

Surviving are his sister, Della (Sonny) Brown of Lansing; nieces and nephews,
Rocky (Roberta) Graham of Ionia, Doug (Brenda) Brown of Tennessee, Steven
(Angel) Brown of Tennessee, Kevin (Kathy) Brown of Swartz Creek, DeAnn Brown of
Lansing, Kim Schweifler and Dennis Miller of Lansing; his dear friends, Jill
Morawa and Ernie Crab of Lake George.  He was preceded in death by his mother,
Opal Ferris and his sister, Ruby Meade.

Cremation has taken place and a celebration of Raymond’s life will be held at a
later date.  Arrangements by Myers Memorial Chapel in Ionia.
