REETA SHERMAN
Lake Odessa - Reeta Sherman, 83, of 1302 Tupper Lake Street, lake Odessa, died
Monday at the Barry County Medical Care Facility, where she had been a patient for the last
three months.

She was born September 8, 1898, in Odessa Township, the daughter of Henry and 
Gertrude (Beaver) Karcher.

She attended Lake Odessa Schools and was a lifelong resident of the Lake Odessa
area.

She married, successively, Benjamin Archer, Roy Kincaid, and Clark Sherman, who all
proceded her in death.

She was a member of the Blue Star mothers, the Merry Social Club, and the Rebekahs.

She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Ben (Reeta) Johnson of Woodland; 3 sons,
Kenneth Archer of Clarksville, Don and Robert of Flint; 4 stepsons, Douglas Kincaid of
Casper, Wyoming, Ovid Sherman of Muskegon, Allen Sherman of Middleville, and Roger Sherman
of Blessing, Indiana, one brother, Rex Karcher of Lake Odessa, 11 grandchildren, 24
great-grandchildren, and several great-great-grandchildren.

Services will be 1:30 pm at the Pickens-Koops Funeral Chapel in lake Odessa, the
Rev. Connie Hefflefinger officiating.

Burial will be in Lakeside cemetery.
