          JOHN LESTER SHERMAN

Died January 8,2023-age 76 of Lyons
Born  April 1, 1946 in Ionia the son of William and Frances (Johnson) Sherman.
John married Patricia Ward on August 24, 1985.
John enjoyed hunting, fishing, tractors, tractor pulls and riding his John Deere 
gator.
He worked for General Motors for many years, retiring in 1995.
Surviving are his wife of 37 years, Patricia Sherman of Lyons; children, Bill 
(Shelly) Sherman of Muir, Jean (Harold) Russell of North Carolina, Amanda 
(Stuart) Ferris of Lyons, Tami (Sheila) Ferris of Lyons, April Peck of 
Greenville,Jeanne Warfield of Lyons and Holly Peck of Lansing, 19 grandchildren; 
17 great-grandchildren; brother, James (Sharon) Sherman of Clarksville and 
sister, Rose Emmons of Cadillac.
Preceded in death by his parents and twin grandson's Taylor and Tyler.
Graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, January 13, 2023, at Lyons 
Cemetery.
Luncheon following services at Lyons VFW.
Arrangements in care of Lake Funeral Home of Muir.
